MATA’s long-term focus, once renovations are complete will foster the arts and theater in our community by offering musical performances, small theatrical productions, movie nights, comedy shows, and lectures in a venue that has social and historical significance to our community. Moving forward, we anticipate working closely with Community Performance Series (“CPS”) and other North Country theater groups, such as Ogdensburg Command Performances, to bring a range of cultural events to our local area. We also intend to work closely with Massena Music Friends, an organization that has worked tirelessly to support and maintain music classes and musical opportunities for our High School students, to encourage and train our community’s youth in the performing arts through children’s theater and musical performances.
